My son Noah was born on December 4th and I his birthday party was just yesterday. Don’t ask me why… if it wasn’t one thing, it was another. We did it anyway and that’s what counts.
His party theme was Animals and here are the cookies that I made for him. We have sugar, chocolate & cinnamon cookies. They are all decorated with royal icing and the animal was made out of chocolate.
I saw some beautiful strawberries at the grocery store and decided to make him some chocolate covered strawberries.
And finally here’s a picture of my handsome son.
Yes, I did make him a cake. Well, I made him cupcakes. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of them (bad mom!). They were very cute, we had chocolate (with chocolate ganache in the middle), vanilla and walnut cupcakes. They were frosted with buttercream in two tones, white/blue and white/orange. For a topper, I bought these adorable animals from William Sonoma made from die cut paper and printed paper attached with wooden picks.
Sharks Attack
Sharks for a little boy’s birthday party.
The cupcakes are Chocolate Butter and Vanilla. They have our signature buttercream mixed in two tones (blue and white). We have three different types of sharks made out of chocolate and they all look mighty scary!
Toy Story Cake
I almost forgot to post about this fun cake! Have you seen Toy Story? I might be the only who hasn’t seen that popular movie, but I recognize the characters. Well, I had to create a cake with this theme so my I rented the movie for my daugther (and me).
