Why order from One Sweet Treat?

When you choose to buy from a grocery store, you are most likely buying pre-made mixed and ingredients with a lot of preservatives. Unlike a grocery store, I bake everything from scratch and only days before the event’s date to make sure that your dessert is fresh and full of flavor.

How do I order a cake?

Please fill out the contact form with as many details as you possible. I try to reply within two days including Saturday and Sunday. You can also email me as mayra@onesweettreat.com if you prefer.

Do you deliver or can I pick up my cake?

Orders can be delivered or picked up. It really depends upon the type of cake and the client’s preferences. Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require on-site assembly.

How far in advance can I place an order?

I generally need about a week in advance on most special occasion or party cakes. The more notice the better to guarantee your date.

For wedding, quinceañeras and bar/bat mitzvahs (or any other specialty cake order), please contact me at least 3 months in advance. 

Do you make Kosher cakes?

Unfortunately, I do not offer Kosher cakes at this time.

What is the payment policy?

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. This will be put directly towards your total balance.  The remaining balance is due ne month prior to the event date.

Smaller cakes can be paid a few days before the event or when it is delivered or picked up. You can pay with cash or check.
